Research dossier

Three ways to read the profile.

Race record, family and practical relevance are read together — never as isolated headlines.

01

Read the race record

Results in context

SAMLLA is presented with 6 wins and 2 wins at Group 1/top level, with a documented distance profile of 1,400–2,000 m. Those figures become meaningful only when read with where, when and against whom the results were achieved.

02

Read the pedigree

Family before fashion

The Assy × Djakera des Forges by Kerbella cross is the starting point of this profile. The recurring names Assy, Amer, Kerbella, Kesberoy become routes through the archive — not a mathematical promise of performance.

03

Why this profile belongs here

The lesson that remains

An unbeaten three-year-old sequence becomes truly valuable only when it is followed by continuing Group-class form across distances and supported by a documented female family.

Pedigree

Documented pedigree and family map.

The documented cross should be read alongside female-family production, soundness, distance and surface. A name in a pedigree is a clue — never a guarantee.

Only names supported by the editorial research or a linked primary source are displayed. Missing generations are never filled with assumptions.

Female family

Djebella II / Djala / des Forges family

Bloodline Story

Assy × Kerbella

Samlla is by HH The Emir’s Sword winner Assy, a son of Amer, and out of the unraced Djakera des Forges by Kerbella. Al Shahania Stud traces Djakera through Djarella and Djalou des Forges to Djala. This connects Samlla to the wider des Forges family and to Djainka des Forges in the archive, although through a different branch. The practical point is twofold: the concentrated Assy–Amer side supplied classic range, while the Kerbella–Djala female line places his early speed and five Group wins in a deeper family context.

The documented cross should be read alongside female-family production, soundness, distance and surface. A name in a pedigree is a clue — never a guarantee.

Breeding Insight

Pedigree. Performance. Purpose.

As a stallion or gelding reference, the profile shows which performance traits can be studied in the line. Race results do not automatically prove breeding value; offspring, female families, health and compatibility must also be assessed.

An unbeaten three-year-old sequence becomes truly valuable only when it is followed by continuing Group-class form across distances and supported by a documented female family.
